Smartstay Johnny - Podstrana

The hotel had a charming and cozy decoration, with beautiful paintings on the walls and soft lighting that created a warm atmosphere. The general areas were well maintained and clean, making it easy for senior people like me to move around comfortably. The children working there were always ready to assist and were very patient with us.

I would have liked to see more comfortable seating options in the common areas, especially for senior people who may need extra support.

Hosts were excellent, even gave us room with big balcony with seaview.

The location was great, right by the beach and close to a bus stop. The room was clean and spacious, exceeding my expectations. The breakfast provided was satisfactory and the staff was friendly and helpful.

During my stay over Christmas, there was a lack of festive atmosphere. The decorations were minimal and there were no special holiday activities or events.

the bed was comfortable, i slept well, and liked views of the ocean. kitchenette was such a bonus. the owner was always available.

Could not be improved in any way. It met requirements.

A bakery and a supermarket next door was so handy. Lots of options for breakfast, it was GOOD.

our recent stay in podstrana was amazing. the apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the sea. tony, the owner, was incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations. breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed chatting with tony. we will definitely be back!

Apartments Johnny is clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. Johnny is a great, friendly guy who cooks a good breakfast.

The most annoying thing was the neighbour who keeps hunting dogs in a little pen close to the driveway of Apt Johnny. They bark a lot when they're hungry! There is a busy road between the hotel and the beach access which is a little inconvenient, but the noise level was not too loud.

Apartment location was excellent and the owner was very friendly and willing to help. The place was easy to find and is just 20-30min bus ride away from Split centre. So even we had our own car we preferred to use the bus to avoid driving in centre of Split. Bus leaves just out side the apartments. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good. If you fancy a morning swim the beach is just down the road.

Somebody may be put off by the busy road that separates the apartment from the beach and it can be noisy. Would have been nice to have reading lamp in the room, but other than that the room was great!

Mind-blowing hospitality, incredibly kind owners, and super helpful staff. A/C issue resolved within minutes and got a free night's stay! Clean rooms with stylish furniture. Perfect location, no car needed. Delicious breakfast. Will definitely return!

All of the staff at Apartments Johnny are so friendly, they make you feel so welcome. The view from the balcony of our room was fantastic. The breakfast was great and the location just over the road from the beach and a really great value beach bar (with excellent pizzas) was ideal.

There was some road traffic noise which may be annoying for very light sleepers but it was nothing too bad.

Fantastic beachfront location, clean and well-maintained with attentive and friendly staff. Amazing views from the balcony, equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Convenient bus stop for easy access to nearby attractions. Breakfast provided nearby is delicious and a great start to the day.

This hotel was great! It was very clean and the breakfast is good, they will make you omelettes. There is a street that separates you from the beach but this sets you back and up which gives you amazing views!! Plus the walk to the beach is about a minute. As others have said, there are dogs close by but they did not bark once while we were there. There are some nice restaurants on the beach close by. The bus is not consistent and it can take about 30 min to get into Split because of all the stops along the way, so if you're not in a hurry it's not that bad. But Johnny and his mom are great! I highly recommend Apartments Johnny!
